Lenders have cracked down, and the loan process is much stricter than it had been in prior years when you move into a new home.
  8. Alert the Media. Well, your friends and family at least. Either plan for an email blast or order moving announcements to mail out. And be sure to take care of the paperwork with the post office to have your mail redirected to the new place a couple of weeks in advance. You can pick up a form, or fill it out online.
  9. Prepare the Kids. When you move into a new home, it can be confusing for little ones. Take the time to talk with them and reassure things will be fine.
